6/10. I'm not creative enough for this.

When I was little, I'd play the original SIMS game with my big sister. I was always terrible at keeping families alive, but even at a young age, I was pretty good at designing houses. We would demolish the preexisting house, enter the //rosebud cheat, and I'd have free range of constructing a new place. Then, she'd control the family and I'd watch. One summer in college, I took the world's most boring computer class, and I'd spend most of class designing random things in Google Sketchup (not part of the assignments, but I'm a kinesthetic learner and the class was SO. DULL.). My dad was an architect, and I guess I inherited some of his aesthetic know-how.

For some people, a nostalgic game might be an arcade style beat-em-up, a remake of a classic, or something modern with an intentionally low-polygon count. For me, it's a game like Summerhouse. Although you're only constructing things on an XY-axis plane, the simplicity of the options make it my ideal cozy game. I've only pulled it up 3 times so far, but it's such a relaxing experience that it's become my go-to stress reliever. Anything more complex in nature would be too intention-heavy for me, but this is more like building something out of Legos with pre-2000 choices of blocks (something I've also used to keep my hands busy when I'm getting a bit too fidgety). I highly recommend Summerhouse.

Pleasant experience, albeit a wee bit shallow.

It would be nice if there were future features to increase replay value, such as bigger maps (longer roads?), workshop support or asset packs.
