With life sims, there is a balance to be hit when it comes to grind and pay off. This game just really doesn't hit that balance, and I stopped when I realised I was resenting giving my time to the game.

This game makes me happy. While it does have a pass out at 2AM feature, it never really feels like a time crunch. I never feel like I'm falling behind or not progressing fast enough. If I forget to water my crops or check on my animals, nothing dies, it just takes an extra day to produce. There's no seasons, so you don't have to worry about crops dying at the end of a quarter. All the things you do progress you forward. I haven't encountered anything that sets me back, even making mistakes. If I lose all my health exploring a planet, I wake up on the ship with my money and everything I gathered intact. There's really no harm in exploring ahead before upgrading equipment if you don't want to grind. I'm playing without a wiki or guide and doing fine. It's just really fun and chill.

Curious about this one, I launched the Demo and here I am 6 hours later, not even realizing that I was still just playing the Demo. Totally worth buying this one for so many reasons., but mainly to thank and support this studio

If you are done with Stardew Valley or just need a break from it, this is a stunning alternative with its own universe, esthetics and atmosphere.
