I think the only thing I'd work on is the controller support. The reticle is tiny and moves slow as a result, I'd add some bigger hitboxes or something to compensate. Score limits for medals would also be nice. Otherwise, really fun.

So I've played a couple games that remind me of StarFox and likely got inspired by that series. ExZodiac, Astrodogs, Sky Squadron, Fur Squadron, Whisker Squadron and I've come away pretty disillusioned. The first in that list is kinda cool, but I really don't enjoy the others, they feel floaty imprecise, superficially similar but very distant in game feel.
