Sudden Keyboard input loss
I'm experiencing a bug that annoys me extremely: I'm constantly, after a while, losing the keyboard input while pressing a key (tank controls), e.g. while pressing the Action key (Control) for monkey swing, Lara suddenly drops as if Control wasn't pressed anymore. I'm on Windows 11 and I've got a Keychron K10 keyboard attached via USB cable.

Steps I've taken:
- Updated the Bios to the newest version, disabled legacy support for USB, disabled wake-up event (delegated it to the OS)
- Updated the chipset drivers to the newest version
- Reinstalled Windows 11
- Checked for input loss outside the game: The key registers without problems for minutes
- Checked for power plan problems: Nothing, the OS isn't set to save energy and power savings are off for the keyboard in the device manager.
- Checked for a faulty keyboard: Same problem occurs with another keyboard.

Do others have the same problems? What was your solution?

Reinstall the keyboard driver maybe? Verify the game files?

Does this happen with every key, or are only certain ones affected? How long does it take for the input to stop working? Is that consistent or does it vary?

sounds quite complex of an issue you are having there
Do you also play other games just to be sure it's a tomb raider issue?
If you lose keyboard input, does it work immediately if you press a key?

Let's say your hanging, Lara falls because of this issue and you press immediately spacebar, does she draw the weapon?

Have you tried a gamepad?
I did reinstall keyboard drivers, didn't help. Also, it also happens with movement keys. Typically, it happens after 5 to 25 seconds, it's not uniform. It also happens when I bind the action to another key (I tried "x" for "Action", same result). Only other game I have input issues is Space Marine 2, but there it seems more widespread (I found other users with the same problem). All other games, including Tomb Raider I-III not remastered, work fine.

Edit: Modern controls work fine, the issue doesn't occur with modern controls, just tank controls. I can progress, but I really, really hate modern controls on this game... :/

Sure sounds like a game problem then. Verifying/redownloading the game files doesn't fix it either?

That other keyboard you tested - was that a K10 as well, or a different manufacturer/model? Grasping at straws here.

Is it happening with multiple keys being pressed or just one? Could be some issue with key combinations potentially, and this is perhaps not apparent with the modern controls presuming you're using a mouse.

Also I'm guessing you're not trying to switch between the different Ctrl keys to temporarily go one handed? Since as I understand from other topics in these forums, that doesn't work in the remasters.
Maybe it is a "keyboard" related issue, on PS4 gamepad there is no such problem.
Try another keyboard if you can. It sounds like you have a PSU issue even.
