absolute banger from my childhood!
it may have copied from other RPG's, but it does it in its own fun way that it becomes a classic in its own right.
skip the remaster and play this!

Vintage RNG dungeon crawler, this is the original with the map lower left screen, the new improved version updated for newer windows has the map moved over to the more familiar upper right side. I prefer this version myself and find it runs best on Linux using steam with proton enabled, quick youtube google search should help if your not sure what I mean.

Simple, Extremely fun and has fishing.

I bought this game after watching Jerma playing remastered and after Seer's video.

As someone who is trying to get into ARPG's I was humbly surprised.

Combat in this game is simple yet very fun. There are no classes or races but gear means a lot and so do stats.

Gear is awesome, getting a new item feels great and even putting gems in it feels awesome.

Fishing is OP, simple to do but very very very profitable - therefore I recommend 3rd or 4th difficulty.

Closest comparison this game has is Torchlight since they are made by same people that being said, I find this game more fun.

10/10 - one of the best ARPG's I could play
