checking in to say Silkbulb Test is still very much in development, despite the radio silence.

life comes at you fast it seems, arguably too fast. i blink and months have passed in its wake. but progress is progress and im happy with where its at and where its going.

i have no estimates or reassurances other than that im working on it all day, every day. i want to make something special - something worthy of your time. time is nonrefundable and precious and id prefer not to waste it - mine or yours.

keep your head to horizon and look for me one day soon.

How do you get past the "dont look down" part?

I waited there motionless for a good time without looking down to press a button and nothing happened. That monster keeps eating me.

Silkbulb Test is taking frickin forever. And I know ya'll are waiting to get traumatized by it.

So as a brief respite from the wait - Im releasing a small game called, "flathead"

that is the link. its a spooky&short single player game.

The full name is 'silkbulb / flathead' because i wanted it to be clear theyre related and Im a simple man.

Think of it like a short film to the full length SBT. Itll be like 1-2 bucks and itll both be a frickin good time and itll help support me so I can both keep eating and living while I make the full length game.

That last part is important. Ill level with all of ya - I am QUICKLY running out of money - and as someone who doesn't like kickstarters and generally asking for money - I want this to be a way for you to support the making of the silkbulb test by having something tangible to buy and play.

Dont get me wrong, Ive spent way too much time on this and itll be a hella good time (im using 'hella' now) - but if you wanna play SBT, help me help you help me get there.

TL;DR: im releasing a small game in late march/early April. wishlists are super important - so if ya interested, please wishlist it!

I tried many different things but no clue how to get these two: Result: Determined Participant completed the Preliminary Test Result: Confusing This achievement is hidden. Participant does not understand doors Any help? Edit: Solved

Fix the controls please

Rebinding seems broken, I got stuck at one of the calibration, the circle wouldn't move and the key binds were changed to some absurd settings. Too bad, it's really interesting, but unplayable as is.

What is the melody that plays when you're doing the calibration key?

Title, it seems to be the theme of the Silkbulb Test as it also plays in most of the terrifying promotional material that Tim makes for the game. It's kind of a banger. Is it a pre existing nursery rhyme type thing or was it created for the game?
