Hey Zookeepers! 🦁🔧

We're back with another patch, bringing **fixes and improvements** to enhance your experience. Let’s get into it!

## 🎧 **Bodycam Fixes & Improvements**
- 🎥 **Fixed Bodycam Clock Bug** — The timer no longer runs **backwards** when the in-game menu is open. No more negative time travel! ⏳❌
- 🔄 **Fixed Bodycam Display Issues** — The bodycam now consistently **displays correctly** in all intended moments.
- 🔊 **Added VHS Audio Filter Setting** — Now you can **adjust the intensity of the VHS sound filter** to your liking!

## 🎯 **Vet Gun Fixes**
- 🦠 **Fixed Vet Gun Disappearance** — No more **losing the Vet Gun** in Act 3 after completing lab actions or picking up a briquette.
- 🎯 **Fixed Aim Menu Bug** — Opening the in-game menu while aiming **no longer locks you out of returning to gameplay**.

## ⚙️ **UI & Gameplay Fixes**
- 📺 **VHS UI Auto-Enable Fix** — Starting a **New Game** will no longer automatically turn on the VHS UI if "Bodycam" was previously disabled.

## 🎊 **Seasonal Update**
- 🏮 **Lunar New Year decorations have been removed** — The celebrations may be over, but the zoo is always open!

My game keeps crashing at the AFK ending

When I try to do the AFK ending, the cutscene just starts and then, suddenly, my game just crashes, even tho I was able to do it previously in past updates.

This update brings some exciting **body cam features** and **important fixes** to make your experience even better. Let’s dive in!

## 🎥 **Body Cam Update**
- 📷 **Added Body Cam Mode** for a more **analog horror** experience.
- 🎞️ **New VHS Mode** for that **classic found-footage** feel.
- 🎛️ **Expanded Settings Menu**
- ❗ **Important: You can switch these settings at any time in the game** ❗
- 🎥 **Camera Lag** — Toggles smooth camera movement.
- 🌍 **Camera Shake** — Toggles camera shake while moving.
- 📺 **VHS UI** — Switches to a classic VHS-style UI.
- 👁️ **Fish Eye** — Adjusts lens distortion intensity.
- 📼 **VHS Interference** — Adjusts VHS-style screen distortion intensity.
- 🕶️ **Vignette** — Toggles camera vignette effect.
- 🧼 **Lens Dirt** — Adjusts the intensity of lens dirt and grime.
- 🔲 **4:3 Mode** — Switches to a classic VHS aspect ratio.
- 🎮 **Reworked Inventory Slot UI** to improve **gamepad controls**.
- 🔧 **Overhauled DLSS Settings** and **revamped the entire settings menu**.
- ⚡ **Added Interaction Animation Speed Setting** — Customize how fast animations play when interacting with objects.
- 🎯 **New Aiming Slowdown Feature** — Precision aiming just got smoother.

## 🐛 **Bug Fixes**
- 📱 **Fixed PDA Bug** — You could open the PDA before "receiving" the Vet Gun if you skipped the first cutscene.
- 🎯 **NG+ Vet Gun Fix** — If you started NG+ and immediately loaded a save, the Vet Gun would disappear. Now it's back where it belongs!
- 🎮 **Fixed Apply Button on Gamepad** — Now works correctly in the settings menu.

Zoochosis is an intense and unique horror experience! The bodycam perspective adds so much immersion, making every encounter feel unsettling and real. The concept of being a zookeeper fighting against an infection is fresh and engaging, and the mix of horror, strategy, and survival keeps things exciting. The atmosphere is eerie, the tension is high, and every decision feels impactful. Definitely a must-play for horror fans!

A Tiny Bug

There was a problem with the inventory system when I played today. When I tried to grab an item while holding the collector, it disappeared. Just wanted to let you know because it made the game impossible for me to play.

Is the doc ai voiced?

I'm watching 8bitryan let's play and i kept noticing doc voice feels familiar before i noticed this is same voice that chugayt uses for his fat controller character in thomas & the secret So either you used a voice actor who sounds like John goodman or you used the same ai model especially when i notice his lips movements feel...off like they won't properly animated unlike the rest of him...

whats up with the needless edgy nudity?

i thought i was here to fight some gored abominations and survive untold horrors, instead i got a jank ugly game with almost none of what was advertised and lots of random nudity where it does not belong lol. even some of the animals have mutated genitalia for the sake of being edgy or shocking. it kills the vibe/horror. this game feels more like the devs barely disguised fetish. fr fr, Refunded. really upsets me that a cool idea like this game was wasted.
