If your descent into the underworld hasn’t been bleak enough, now’s the perfect time to dive in. Between the unforgiving gods, twisted trials, and a cursed realm that seems to hate you personally - there’s plenty of eldritch energy in store.

👉 No - this is our full release! That said, we’ll still be continuing development post-launch with updates and fixes.

👉 Yes! There will be 18 achievements available at launch.

🕹️ Does The Deadly Path support Steam Deck?

👉 We’re not Steam Deck Verified yet, but the game plays well on Deck thanks to our 16:10 resolution compatibility.

👥 Is there multiplayer or co-op?

👉 No - The Deadly Path is a single-player experience, meticulously designed to let you face divine judgment all on your own.

📦 Will my progress carry over through updates?

👉 Yes - we’ll avoid wiping progression where possible. If we do need to reset anything due to major changes, we’ll give you a heads-up.

Wow this character is a huge difficulty spike. What is the intended playstyle? I figured since your economy is 500x worse until industry, you need to rush industry, but getting the gold for that has meant rushing seems next to impossible, and the killing moons from the hollows dont work because you have so much food upkeep you can't satisfy....

1. Windowed mode just bugs out. Upon starting a game it reverts to fullscreen, and won't change resolution anymore. 2. There's some horrible glitch noises happening every so often.

Charm Equipment Points

Does anyone know how to get more than three points to allot to charms? Given that some charms take more than three I'd think there has to be a way but have not found one.

Major problems related to pausing the game.

I do not know how much of this is intended, but the problems with the game not staying paused is making this game borderline unplayable. Imagine that when you interacted with ANYTHING in cultist simulator, it immediately unpaused the game. In this game, it apparently is like that as I encountered things like: -Either directly clicking and dragging a minion, or assigning a minion to a tile, or both, unpauses the game. -Clicking to see possible building options on a tile either unpauses the game immediately...

A balance pass may save it but until then you are too much at the mercy of the RNG, and I say this as someone who likes randomness in games. It's an exercise in frustration

Just not good enough for me. It's an interesting game and fairly priced, but I couldn't see myself returning. I was excited when I saw all the different characters to unlock and play, but once I realized these are more of a difficulty slider, I got pretty discouraged.

The game is a bit wonky. For example, if you pause the game while there is text on the screen from something like the Killing Moon event, it just stays there. So you have to unpause and wait for the text to go away and pause again so you can actually see. The controls get a little weird at time when dragging locations. Like the game will stick your mouse to a location and have a weird delayed drag.

It's an interesting concept, but at the end of the day it's just placing buildings and waiting. It's a resource management style game where you try to keep up with the ever increasing upkeep costs while constantly having to expand as your tiles become exhausted of resources. You have goals to meet like building a certain building or defending against X amount of raIds.

My biggest gripe is that this is supposed to be a real time game, but the visibility options are not very good. The grid starts filling up and becomes a giant cluster ****. Even fully zoomed out you still have to drag the board around to see things. This really made the game feel like a chore to play, especially when they start introducing raids where enemies will attack your tiles. At this point, keeping up with what was happening with the poor visibility became more of a chore than a fun game.

It's just not polished or fun enough for me to keep. Best of luck to the devs.
