Do you have the Bandlab version or the Platinum version of Sonar installed. Could be that X3 is picking up some of the config files from those for your 32bit plugins?
Also, Didn't X3 have a separate buffer setting for samples? It's been so long since I've used it that I forget, but I think when I did use it, I had to set up buffers for both 32 and 64 bit plugins separately because of the different way they accessed memory and caches.
