Hi, I bought the game yesterday, and after starting I got a white screen and it ends by it self. So what can I do?

I am very stumped on most of them, so I thought I'd create this thread to share our findings. Preface: Due to constraints beyond my control there's no way for us to release anymore updates to the game before the release. I've therefore decided to open a beta branch that gives access to a semi-stable stream of updates that have all that's currently developed. Why?
