I set the music and sound to 0, but clicking the tiles still make really loud sound effects as if the sound were still at 5. I live with my brother who works from home, so I need to be able to turn the sound down to a respectable level, please. :)

I played Spellstrife for about an hour and half - played the demo and completed a round. I thought I would share my thoughts. Overall: a much better game than I thought it would. There is solid gameplay here that it is enjoyable. There are few games of this kind that feel it has purpose behind making the words (other than a brain challenge). A few suggestions on the game: 1.
