After i played through the original deus ex multiple times again i decided to play this and i completely forgot about the bulls**t that is the ship mission... I had EMP shielding prior to getting on the ship and being in the EMP chair so why did my augs get reset??? I've seen people say that they did that because you'd be too overpowered but it's honestly a super lazy way of doing it and I don't care if i was too OP at that point, that's what made the game fun, running through everybody and knocking/killi...

Has anyone figured this out yet? I used to play this game alot on my old PC. I installed it and even checked game files but it just WILL NOT start. NVM i got it to start using this command in Properties > Start up options Where D: is the drive my game is located. C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start "" /affinity F "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut\DXHRDC.exe" %command% It starts up perfectly! The above command is all on one line....

Feel free to correct me there cuz I didn't get to that point just yet, but I don't understand why this game has an NG+. I know, bold statement, but hear me out for a moment. I too love it when a game has NG+. Some of my favorite games of all time have that feature, but I just don't get why it's a thing for this game specifically. It is in sale now in GOG but I read telemetry being sent to 2 companies. Do I HAVE to use mods to get rid of spyware or does it work if just block outbound data traffic from firewall, or does it crash since game can not function right? Anyone tried just blocking from firewall?...
