i'm lost/stuck, 15 gems can't complete one level because don't know its alternate entrance, and another level definitely needs shield to complete... i also cannot fight a certain boss that evades...

I've pretty much gone through this whole game and got all the gems except for this level. I cannot for the life of me figure out the clock puzzle with the Sword & Shield doors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

highly suggest once a player gotten a stage's map... they don't need to find it again... some hints on maps are "after the fact" like navigation hints for a darkroom or a walking puzzle that was already done TO REACH said map...
