It seems very mysterious... And it seems like it's a DARK SOULS™ II.
First of all, have you played before and was everything okay?
- Because you mentioned your other save.
Unlike DARK SOULS™: REMASTERED - there is no option to play offline, at least directly in the game, as this may solve your problem.
- However, you can try offline mode through Steam:

Another case may be related to damage to the save file(s).
- Find your local save files* and backup and only then delete them, then launch the game and see if that solves your problem.
* By default, the local saves files / folder located at the specified path:

If possible, try to clarify your problem by sharing more details with us so that we and especially other people can help you, as we are not experts.
