I've just bought the game 'Manacle' but the text and language is in Chinese. How do I select English language and/or English subtitles

so i am near the end of the game where i use the scissors to free the girl then after i leave back through the curtain and i get chased by the man with the axe i can never make it through the gates. they keep shutting . ive tried numerous of times while holding sprint and no luck. the gates always come down to fast. frustrating is it me or a glitch....
