The Quinfall - Update Notes (20.03.2025)

Quinfall will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on March 20, 2025, between 04:00 and 05:30 (GMT+3, Turkey time). This update contains various fixes and gives a preview of what's coming next.

Connection and Server Improvements

  • Significant improvements have been made to connection issues.
  • A scalable new server infrastructure has been completed.
  • Server capacities have been significantly increased.
  • Locked channels can now be activated and new channels can be added as needed.
  • Each channel increases capacity while allowing players to play on the same server.
  • Fixed an issue where characters would not be in their previous location when reconnecting after disconnecting from Arena battles or dungeons.

Gameplay and Mechanics Updates

  • Dungeon daily point increase raised to 300.
  • Automatic chat language detection reactivated.
  • Shared gatherable resources between channels are now channel-specific. Previously, a tree cut down in one channel was also cut down in another.
  • Ships are now limited to a maximum of 5 pieces for chanels while in the water. Previously it was limited to 5 total. Also, ships will no longer appear in your list in different channels while on the water, but may appear in other channels when they are towed to port.
  • Fixed an issue where Level 50 characters could not earn Pet EXP.
  • Fixed a rare inventory visual bug related to tool activation.
  • Population indicator on the channel screen has been temporarily disabled and will be reactivated in the next update according to the new server architecture.
  • Character Level, PVP, and PVE rankings have been activated.
  • Dungeon Boss drop rates increased by 30%.
  • Sorting is now disabled while mass item deletion is enabled.
  • Fixed an issue where Clan Shrine badges were required after Level 4 of the Individual Shrine. Individual Shrine badges must now be used.
  • Fixed an issue where hunting and gathering EXP did not vary based on material quality.

Language and Community Support

  • In-game language options are now open-source.
  • Players can now edit these language files to contribute.
  • New language options will be added in the future under “Community Support”

Bug Fixes and Optimizations

  • Fixed an issue where players could not be recruited into a clan in certain cases.
  • Repair kit drop rates have been reduced.
  • Fixed an issue where caravan mounts could not be summoned in certain situations.
  • The in-game feedback system has been temporarily disabled for an enhanced version (video, screenshot uploads, and other features).
  • Fixed an issue where some desert region creatures were positioned in a way that prevented them from dealing damage to players.
  • Adjustments were made to ensure that items inside built structures and decorative objects are not lost when removed by players.
  • Fixed an issue where shrine circles were sometimes not clearly visible on the world map.
  • Teleportation fees are now determined based on level, in addition to distance and weight. Low-level players will have lower teleportation costs.
  • Fixed an issue where ship captains could still control the ship after dying.

PVP Updates

  • Players who log out during PVP will now lose PVP points, and the last player to deal damage will gain PVP points.
  • Players who log out during PVP will respawn at the nearest settlement.
  • Upon first login and after teleporting, players now receive a 30-second damage protection shield, which is removed if they move.

Coming Soon - Future Updates

  • Weapons Balancing adjustments will be made to improve gameplay experience.
  • Clan Quest System will be introduced, allowing clans to participate in unique quests and earn rewards.
  • Clan Passive Skill System, providing passive benefits to clan members.
  • Development will be made for the current Arena Event.
  • NEW Aetherion Clash, offering competitive PVP challenges and exclusive rewards.

Server and Performance Improvements

  • Server performance improvements were made for large-scale multiplayer environments. Infrastructure enhancements were specifically applied to the European server.
  • Improvements were made to address the "Server not responding 01" error caused by weak connections or sudden connection fluctuations.
  • Fixes were applied to resolve the AppSign error and the issue where the "AntiCheat Loading" screen would not close upon game entry.
  • An AI-supported control system has been added to the in-game chat and PM system to filter out messages containing coin sales, advertisements, or offensive language. Since all messages in General Chat and PM are now filtered through the AI system, they will be delivered with an average delay of 1-2 seconds.

Combat and Skill Balancing

  • The EXP rates in Party monster zones have been significantly increased. Additionally, their movement speed has been increased by 25%. The strength and drop rates of Party monsters on islands have also been adjusted accordingly.
  • Magic AP attacks can now deal damage to structures.
  • Fixed an issue where Staff/LifeStaff skills sometimes failed to deal damage due to server-side protections.
  • The issue where using the Invisible Strike dagger skill caused bosses to drop their aggro on the character has been resolved.
  • Skill stones now deplete based on the number of skill uses rather than the amount of damage dealt.

Gameplay and User Experience Improvements

  • The mount summon cooldown is now reset when using a skill.
  • Improvements were made to the Q shortcut command, which allows automatic running, mount control, and ship steering, ensuring it does not interfere with certain combat situations. The command will no longer be canceled during UI interactions or chat usage.
  • The daily quest requiring horse feeding can now also be completed by feeding pets.
  • Fixed an issue where secondary characters could not properly mount or appeared underneath their mounts.
  • Friend List and Block List capacities have been increased to 200/200.
  • Fixed a bug where sending a friend request to a non-friend player resulted in a message stating the player was already on the list. Also, fixed an issue where the Friend List sometimes failed to display.
  • Fixed an issue preventing clan officers (below the clan leader) from kicking regular members from the clan.
  • Several improvements have been made to the clan banner approval process.

Bug Fixes and Technical Updates

  • Fixed an issue where ships would disappear or fail to take damage after repairs.
  • Certain plant seeds were previously biome-restricted, making some crafting recipes unachievable. These seeds can now be obtained alongside other seeds.
  • Fixed a bug where some players could not see their daily login rewards.
  • Fixed several visual bugs affecting mounts.

Dear Players,

First and foremost, we acknowledge that the past few weeks have been challenging for all of us. We are aware that the technical issues, cheating problems, and delayed updates have shaken your trust in us. With this in mind, we want to be completely transparent with you and share the challenges we’ve faced, the actions we’ve taken, and our plans moving forward.

When we first implemented our anti-cheat system, we believed we could quickly and effectively address known issues. We engaged with reputable companies to find the best solution, but we soon realized that developing a strong and permanent anti-cheat system would take longer than expected. As a result, after extensive discussions and planning, we have reached an agreement with XIGNCODE3. With this new anti-cheat system, cheat detection will be much faster and more efficient. Thanks to your reports, we are committed to making Quinfall a fair and cheat-free gaming environment.

At the same time, we acknowledge that our response to in-game bugs and technical issues has been slower than anticipated due to our team’s limited resources. We understand that our inability to release updates at the pace we initially intended has disappointed many of you. However, despite all these challenges, we have been working hard to resolve these issues and improve the overall game experience. Since the beginning of the Early Access period, we have made significant progress in stabilizing our servers, and while things are in better shape now, we will continue to work on further improvements.

Players who have been caught using cheats have been punished, and our detection efforts are ongoing. With our new anti-cheat system in place, we are taking stronger security measures and will continue to improve in a professional and structured manner.

We also recognize the disappointment caused by the dupe/coin issues over the past few weeks. Based on your feedback, we have decided to apply a rollback system when critical violations occur, even in the full release of the game. This will help minimize potential losses and maintain the integrity of the game’s economy.

Additionally, we want to clarify our stance on wipes. At this time, our current plan is to avoid a full wipe at the end of Early Access, unless a severe technical issue arises. Instead, we are exploring alternative solutions, such as launching "Progression Servers" to help new players integrate with existing ones more smoothly. We value the time, effort, and progress you have made in the game, and we are actively looking for ways to ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience for both new and veteran players.

We also recognize that this has been a frustrating period for many of you, and we truly appreciate your patience. As a token of gratitude for supporting us during Early Access, we will be offering exclusive cosmetic weapon skins, server-wide EXP events, and special discounts on Steam. We hope these initiatives will help make up for the recent difficulties and provide you with a more enjoyable experience moving forward.

At the end of the day, we firmly believe that "From Bugs to Bounty" is a journey we can overcome together. We are deeply grateful for your trust, patience, and support. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and it continues to shape the future of the game.

Performance Improvements

  • Server-side optimizations have been implemented.
  • Fixed temporary Ping spikes caused by internal technical issues.
  • Asia server ping fluctuations due to the data center’s location are being evaluated for further improvements.
  • More stable network packet transfers—fixed minor bugs caused by unstable server-side packet transmission.

Security & Anti-Cheat Measures

  • XIGNCODE3 Anti-Cheat System with Server-Client verification has been implemented.
  • Server-side security enhancements have been added for various in-game processes.
  • Additional server-side anti-cheat measures have been introduced to counter specific exploits.

Bug Fixes & Adjustments

  • Fixed an issue where Clan PVP/PVE scores displayed as 0 in certain UI sections.
  • Defense weapons placed on ships no longer attack non-clan players on Channel 1.
  • Auto chat filter for banned words has been added—moderation team will update the blacklist dynamically.
  • Resolved issues causing players to get stuck on the login screen. Players still experiencing this should report their character names.
  • Arena entry issues, synchronization problems, and other related bugs have been fixed.
  • Clan leaders can now kick authorized members without revoking their ranks.

Gameplay Improvements

  • Ranking System has been activated. Level/PVE score/PVP score rankings will be available soon after penalty adjustments.
  • One-way auto-run/ship sailing added—can be activated by pressing the Q key. A full-map path-finding system will be introduced later.
  • Defense and Attack vehicles now require fewer ammunition materials.
  • Green horses can now be included in breeding.

Quality of Life Changes

  • Mail auto-delete duration extended from 10 days to 30 days.
  • Buff icon sizes for NPCs and creatures have been reduced for better UI clarity.

Compensation Rewards

  • 1,500 V Coins have been uploaded to all accounts.
  • 10-Day 50% Character/Art/Weapon/Pet/Bot/Arsenal EXP event has been activated on all servers.
  • Special costume weapons have been added to individual external storages.
  • Private Label activated for all players who have been with us until today.

I’ll give a early review of the game with not even having 50 hours in yet, my personal opinion is that the game is pretty good, I really can’t complain with much at this point, there has been a lot of thought, trial and error and testing to get the game to where it’s at now and hopefully will continue to develop. I’m kinda shocked at what’s available so early in the game for new players starting out. It does a decent job of helping you get started with all the basics instead of leaving you to figure out what your supposed to do, now the catch is there is so much going on that you may get overwhelmed in the beginning trying to figure out what all the different materials are used for and how they get implemented into the different crafting systems and such, no joke I’m at near level 25 atm and I’m still lost with parts of. Its not a pay to win game from as far as I can tell but there is a cash shop for cosmetics and storage upgrades with buffs and such if you choose to purchase them to help the developers out, yeah it’s got the gold farmers spamming chat but it’s not as bad as other games are, I’m enjoying it so check it out if you’re curious. Side note there is a negative review saying don’t install based on the game adding a file that can’t be removed, well read the comments on the review and decide how bad it is for yourself but keep in mind how many other games have you installed that might have installed files that you didn’t realize. Food for thought

The Quinfall has still a lot of work ahead. I've tried it on my older PC and on my Gaminglaptop. On my Gaminglaptop it works better, but it's still laggy and on my PC it isn't almost playable - when you are in a city, the game crashes sometimes. (VERY LOW FPS!!!!)

So when you want to play it, your PC should have the best hardware equipment. :')

The Fightsystem seems to be very unfinished. You always have to point the Cursor on your target during the fight and that's exhausting, when you are still a fighter with knifes. My Character always "dances" around the mob instead of attacking him directly. It is not easy to control it. For mages it might be better with the target, but for me, it was difficult to play because of the skills. Sometimes it took way too long until the skillspell came or when I click to another skill, the first skill didn't activate. To fight with the bow was the best option for me.

The character creation... how should I start. :') I'm a huge fan for a detailed characterdesign, I love it. Buuut it was so frustrated to me. To edit the bone structure on the face it took hours for me until I had my finally result. It confuses me a lot, how I can change something on the character. The Base Characters for women looks all the same like wannabe-Angelina Jolie in a cracked Plastic Frankenstein version. Really ugly.

Don't get me wrong: I appreciate the variation of possibilities for character creating, but it should have a more easy function, how to use it. And how to find it! I've searched very long to find out, that you have different shapes for eyes and lips for example. The way how you add tattoos on your character is very impressive, that's my first MMO where it was possible for me to do that.

Now my character is lvl 15 and I always play a little, but it bored me easily. I won't say I give up, but now at the status as the game in the early access the game has for me a thumb down. Still need a better improvement.

Info: I haven't bought this game, it was a gift from a friend.

I like the Devs are active and rolling out updates/patches every day or 2.
And they listen to the players.

ошибка 01(
при запуске персонажа на сервер после окончания загрузки выдаёт ошибку ваше соедение прервано при подключение на сервер (ошибка 01), в дискорде ответа нет, и у пару людей там такие же ошибки...

the game has absolute potential but....
In any case, it needs a server/channel rollback and a balancing of the crafting system against loot drop in the hard mode dungeon.:steamthumbsup: Maybe you can change the combat system instead of static on movement :) It's a huge game feeling difference whether I can move while using skills or whether I have to stop the ( cast / using time )....
