Ranger Support Equipment drop 'missions'/difficulties?
Been replaying the main story as Ranger (and Wing Diver) on a higher difficulty, but keep not finding support equipment drops for the class. Does anyone remember what missions I should grind to actually get better Support Equipment rather than just better guns? Currently playing Hard dif, sometimes peaking to Hardest for the lazier missions. Would've already moved to Hardest if I had better support equip....

After finishing EDF5 I finally decided buying EDF6 with a steam sale and 13 Missions solo doing missions later with air raider (incapable of using anything but depth crawler) just for the game to say "The EDF6 begins now"

And I think "Oh ♥♥♥♥ cool all of that was a warm up and build up to the story"

Then game shoves into EDF5 missions. I started screaming very hard.

Seeing conflicting information, need a solid answer regarding the epic nonsense.
I've owned this game since launch and have put exactly 0 minutes into it. After the launch debacle of the devs not informing customers that the epic garbage is inexplicably tied to the online portion of the game at the very last possible minute, I probably should've got a refund at that point but that's neither here nor there. All I want is a yes or no to the following question: Is there still an epic requirement to play this game, both on and offline? I want nothing to do with that garbage. Thanks....
