Patch 1.0.1 Notes

Hello all,

I've been reading all of your feedback and while some items will take some time to address, I've released a small patch with some notable fixes.

Added a new option in the settings to enable smooth pixels. This option increases visual clarity when enabled. It is disabled by default.
Fixed a bug where the Phantom Gun was not attacking bosses.
Fixed a bug with the Dodgeball passive where the bonus was not properly being applied during boss waves.
Fixed a UI issue where gun part stats preview in the forge UI was not being reset after drag-and-dropping a gun part.

The next items I'll be addressing are related to new user onboarding. Many of you have expressed some confusion around how the gun crafting works, so I'll be spending some time improving that.

can't open in my computer

when I open it on my Windows11 PC,it crashed with error:Steam api init failed with version mismatch -error NO STEAMTIMELINE_INTERFACE_V004 But I can open the game successfully on Linux.It's weird I don't know how to fix it.I think is Steam api's problem. By the way,my Windows's language is Simplified Chinese and I am a Chinese player I don't know if it is related to that.

Looks like the other thread got locked, sorry if this is misplaced. Hey Firebelly! Great game so far, I wanted to give some initial feedback, I know this first impression feedback can be important and difficult if I end up playing too far. BUGS on RELEASE VERSION

Just bought the game and to my surprise the first minute of experience was: - Screen maxed to fullscreen but not centered, it was middle/bottom of my monitor??? (had to change the configs to windowed and fullscreen again to fix) - Game font looks awful, it's like it has constant aliasing, whenever the words move the font looks bad. (needs to fix the font or give the user an alternative font option)...

Constant game crashing on mac

I really want to like this game but I can't play it anymore, every time I get a good build going deep the game crashes on me. I'm using a macbook pro m3 with 18gb of ram.

As the title says, Gunforged is now available for purchase! Head on over to the store page to get it.

Many of you will be happy to hear that Gunforged is launching with controller support! If you encounter any issues with it, please be sure to start a topic in the community discussion. I will be monitoring that space for bugfixes and balance feedback.

NOTE: The latest NVIDIA drivers have created a bug with the engine I use for Gunforged. If you experience graphical glitches, please try using the OpenGL option when launching the game. Otherwise, you can roll back the NVIDIA driver to 566.36. I apologize for any inconvenience - trust me, it's not good for me either!

It's worth the money in my opinion. Great game with great mechanics

The only thing I'd have to complain about, is the optimization and the difficulty.
