For example:
a hit by a zombie adds 5% clothing damage + dirt
a roll on the floor adds 2,5% clothing damage + dirt
The inclusion of sewing kits feels somewhat half baked to me, maybe in the future it will be more significant. I know that's not really the crux of what you're saying, i just don't see a way to make the sewing kits interesting whilst clothing damage effects remain purely cosmetic, at the moment it's less like a fully fledged feature and more like an after thought of yeah you can do that too.
Try rolling around in a warehoue and see if your clothes dont get ripped and dirty.
What I spend my money on is my own business! But on a more serious note, I once fell out of a moving car on to tarmac, got quite heavily injured but my clothes funnily enough were fine.
Unless she's rolling around in protruding nails and jagged metal shards I don't think her clothes would suffer massive rips from contact with the floor. Dirt is a different matter entirely.
But really it was just a dumb example, not meant to be taken literally. I still think the sewing kits don't really justify their existence at the moment, I don't think needing to use them in an arbitrary manner as Jodi's clothes dissolve from rolling would make it more interesting.
I probably would kind of admire someone who would pay around 15k for a quality custom made Jodi.
Sewing Kit right now is most useful for those who has a favorite set for Jodi and don't like it to be damaged.
As for the OP suggestion, not a bad idea at all if it's optional.
That was all just a joke, take take it too seriously.
