Bring back the ability to earn shield rewards.
In connection with the release of The Division 2 game on Steam, I would like to propose returning the opportunity to receive shield rewards in The Division to the game. And it is desirable to make this opportunity indefinite.

Not being able to get shield rewards is counterintuitive. The Division continues to live. It has new players. Shield challenges also remained in the game.

Many players were disappointed after the opportunity to receive their well-deserved rewards ended. Many of them have performed shield tasks for a very long time, hundreds and hundreds of hours. Many completed the challenges, but due to the lack of The Division 2 on Steam (this is the only platform for many), they also missed their chance. Many have only recently tried The Division and are only now getting their shields. And some, having played in The Division 2, decided to discover The Division for themselves (there are SUCH).

Is it fair that all these players will never receive the reward? This incredibly strongly discourages the desire to play The Division 2. And, as for me, it also shows Ubisoft indifference to the community of these games.

I beg everyone to support this message. I ask people from Ubisoft, if they read this, do not ignore it. If possible, pass it on to the staff who are in charge and could help with this.

Wait, receiving Shield rewards was time limited? I just recently jumped in and noticed I receive no rewards from it. That's such an L take on them having not reactivating it on Steam release since majority of the OG players came from here.

Now it does feel like a wasted effort doing those and not earning them on transfer.

Yes, I was also upset. I spent a lot of time to get 3K reputation points in TD1, but when I entered TD2, I saw that I did not get anything.

On the Ubisoft page (http://surl.li/iaxga), unfortunately, a plate is also displayed that the shields are no longer available.

This is actually very strange, given that there are still a huge number of players playing in TD1. A huge number played Steam and basically waited for TD2 here. And now all of us will not receive his well-deserved reward.

TD2 rewards (patches, cosmetic items, decorators) for completing a series of tasks (12 pieces) in TD1. There is an old article on the official Ubisoft page (http://surl.li/iaxdz) where you can read about them.

* I hope the link is not blocked. This is a link to the Ubisfot official website, to an article about shields. If you don't want to follow it, just search fo «The Division 1 Shields».

Or you could just claim them with ubisoft connect ( clk I, Apparel, Caches, UBISOFT CONNECT"with the gift box above it" then collect all you earned. While your at it clk grants "with the gift box above it" next to the UBISOFT CONNECT and get your free exotic " Doctor Home".
Next time just ask

2. Click where it says "Apparel"
3.Click where it says "Caches"
4.Click where it says "UBISOFT CONNECT" (with the little icon gift box above it}

Oh, you are talking about it. There are several problems.

First, this section is no longer functional. See the reason in this Reddit post (http://surl.li/ibqad).

Secondly, even if I had access to this section, I don’t even display shield rewards there (as far as I understand, they were removed from everyone who did not have time to get at least one of the four). The fact that shield rewards are no longer available can be read at the top of this official Ubisoft page (http://surl.li/iaxga).

Third and last. My problem is that people (including me) still play (and will play) TD1 and perform shields there. But their unavailability will upset them when they want to receive them. What's funny about this whole situation is that TD2 on Steam came out after the shield rewards were removed.

UPD. The section with gifts in the game as a whole (the one to the left of the section with Ubisoft Connect) is available to me. And thank you, I was able to pick up Dr. Home's rifle there.

I agree, very annoying to have wasted my time because they could not be bothered to remove the message within Division 1 that stated you will receive Division 2 rewards. Just posting an online message elsewhere outside of the game is not good enough.

Of course it's annoying. But still more annoying and at the same time surprising is the fact that such an event (receipt of rewards in TD2 for TD1 players) turned out to be temporary. Why didn't they immediately close support for the game (just kidding)?

I know a significant number of people who still play TD1 get shields (not all of them get them). And they will have exactly zero motivation, as for me, when they find out that they will not receive an award in TD2.
