For players who don’t know: Damned 1 actually came out before Dead by Daylight. I still remember playing it as a kid, skipping school just to get a few more matches in. Now here we are with Damned 2, and life’s come full circle I’m a teacher at the very same school where I used to skip classes to play the first game. Crazy how time works. lol anyway so to understand this game your goal as survivor solve the puzzles get the key unlock the door its like escape room .for the monsters kill them all and put your traps to slow the survivors before they escape . this game is balanced between monsters and survivor it's not easy to win so for me i enjoy the game ,

Just one evening spent playing the game (in early access no less) is enough for me to know that I freaking love it. Second best thing to come out in 2025 after E33. Maybe third once Silksong gets out.

I was a huge fan of Damned 1. I have never ever played an asymmetric game which was as fun as Damned 1. Everything paled in comparison. Yes, everything. Sadly the first game was kinda bugged and it resulted in a janky experience.

Damned 2 keeps all that made Damned awesome (controls to open doors or drawers, the scary atmosphere, the fun monsters, etc.), but gets rids of the bugs, brings more variability in the gameplay, an actual UI, .... No, seriously, this game is freaking awesome. Damned 2 having such a low visibility is a crime, it deserves a ton of success. And at such a low price! There's already a lot of content in the early access and I hope that the final version will bring us our old favorites back (Phantom pls <3).

Just one note: I only ever played Damned and this one in a premade group with friends. I cannot judge the difficulty of joining a random lobby, which seems to be criticized a bit. A (deserved) larger playerbase would take care of this I guess. Spread the word! Damned 2 is a blast!

There's just one sad thing in Damned 2 being that awesome... It makes me realize that Damned 1 was 10ish years ago, when we were younger... we played it so much... I won't have as many evenings spent with friends on Damned 2 I presume :'(

A really nice update from the first game. I liked the first one, was a lot of fun. Improvement in this game, is that you are able to play versus an AI monster. This means, I do not need to call 5 friends to get a game running, instead I can pretty much play with just one or more friends.
