Hello folks!

We are glad to present the DEMO 2.0 for our game!
After receiving a lot of feedback for our last demo (released 1.5 months back), we decided to incorporate them into the game along with other improvements. This version is packed with more action and features, offering a clearer glimpse of what the full game will deliver.

The changes include but are not limited to:

• Weapon Stats - Completely redone with new effects and more obvious impact in-game (functional and visual)
  
• Soul Crest - Made more powerful and are more seamless to execute.
  
• Artifices - Two new traversal artifices that help you with platforming challenges (and maybe combat too!).
  
• New Enemy Waves

The new demo is live and we would love it if you guys give it a try and let us know what you think either on Steam Discussions or on our Disord[discord.gg].

Additionally, we are aware that the default keyboard controls are a little inconvenient and will be fixing them soon, till then, kindly remap them according to your personal preference.

Hello everyone!
First of all, a big thanks to everyone who played the demo. Since publishing it, we have pushed several patches to fix as well as add new things to it. So if you played the demo near launch only, it is worth giving it another go and we would love to hear your feedback on it!

Listed below are all the patches and their contents. This news event will be updated as and when new patches are added.



Aryn

• Fixed an issue where Aryn was getting stuck midway through an attack.
  
• Aryn's movement is improved on the slopes.
  
• Fixed an issue where Aryn monologue was repeating when he would re-enter the Deathguard fight.

OKUR

• Fixed a bug where the player could leave the combat zone and attack Okur from distance.
  
• Fixed an issue where Okur was getting stuck upon using cursed flames.

SFX

• Added combat door and lift lever SFX
  
• Overhauled Deathguard SFX
  
• Fixed an issue where levers had missing SFX.

General

• Quest Icons and game icons have been replaced.
  
• Fixed the sibling "secret" cameo which could be triggered multiple times.
  
• Updated quest information for all quests.
  
• Minor UI improvements
  
• Treasure Chest VFX improvements
  
• Increased hammer air to ground smash attack damage

Weapons, Relics and Artifices:

• All weapon stats have been optimized
  
• Difficulty parrying projectiles has been decreased
  
• Updated some relics cost, corrected a wrong description for Alterance
  
• All artifices are disabled for now (artifices were getting triggered breaking the game, they will be a part of the full game)

General Enemy Changes:

• Fixed Wretch enemy HP at the beginning of the game.

Okur:

• Okur Hammer Hit attack can be parried.
  
• Few Okur fight bug fixes.
  
• Doesn't get stuck upon using soul crests

Sibling:

• Fixed Sibling Spider Event where the fight was not triggering upon re-entering the room.
  
• Balanced the summoning phase of the Sibling fight.
  
• Few Sibling fight bug fixes.
  
• Doesn't get stuck upon using soul crests

General:

• Fixed a few issues with ladders
  
• Added a few more SFX updates
  
• Interact prompt won't show up for chests that have been opened, and levers that have been triggered.
  
• Chest directly gives you the loot instead of spawning the flying loot drop.
  
• Pressing Menu (Escape) during cutscene shows the UI now.

Enemies

• Stalker's aim has been fixed.
  
• Deathguard's combat extents have been fixed.

General

• Fixed a bug where chests were disappearing after being looted
  
• Minor bug fixes

Aryn

• Fixed the Aryn getting stuck while attacking issue.

Weapons

• Unmaker Chakram Stat - Reckless & Ravenous Void should be working as expected.
  
• Kumbra Chakram Stat - Lingering Frost should be working as expected
  
• Added UI notification for new weapon stat unlocks

General

• Fixed an issue with combat waves where it only spawned one wave of enemies.

Weapons

• Fixed Hammer and Sword empowered attacks along with new VFX
  
• The weapon that the player wields will carry forward to the other sections of the map
  
• Added weapon switch VFX

General

• Minor animation fixes
  
• UI is now disabled while loading a different section of the map and during the death screen
  
• In-game background music won't play in the main menu upon exiting.
  
• Ichor should now get deducted properly upon unlocking a soul crest tier
  
• Fixed map scaling issue

Map

• Few map coordinates have been fixed
  
• Added map pins for the lanterns
  
• Added background for undiscovered maps

General

• Fixed the knock force direction (it was getting reversed in some cases)
  
• Lantern now saves upon being summoned
  
• Few ladder fixes, removed a few of the thin platforms
  
• Fixed an issue where the weapon switch VFX was playing on pressing the button for the currently equipped weapon

UI

• Relevant interact buttons are displayed in the inventory
  
• Relic cost is displayed before equipping

SFX

• SFX improvements for inventory and menu
  
• Added new CG7 SFX
  
• Added new SFX for heal attempt with all empty healing pots

General

• Soul crest power preview now appears greyed out if the player does not have enough Aether
  
• Added new VFX for critical damage
  
• Few Okur balances
  
• Non-demo section maps should no longer show up

• Hazard Respawn bug fix - Aryn would get stuck sometimes after getting knocked into spikes
