You lose everything and restart from level 1 when you die?

I know that porting a game on PC isn't an easy task but would it be possible to have other games there? There are around 9 games (counting the Asuka spin-off on the Dreamcast) and the "modern" ones (that can be more likely got get ported) are the Dual Screen, Wii and PSP ones (such as Shiren 1 remake, Shiren GB2 remake aka DS2, Shiren 4 and 4+ and Shiren 3). really expensive in Brazil...

The Switch version, in handheld mode, had frequent and noticeable framerate drops. I was just wondering if they fixed that with the PC port.
