Hey guys, it's time for some official news!

New Artist Joins the Team

First and foremost, we've brought on a new artist to the project: Shamp Shamp! We believe they'll not only help speed up production, but also bring some truly amazing new art to the game. We're dying to show off their work to you guys! :)

Huge Update Incoming

On the development side, we're continuing to implement the script while gathering the remaining assets for the next update. Please bear with us a little longer — this upcoming update is one of the biggest we've ever put out (despite a few production hiccups along the way).

There’s a lot to be excited about in this update, including:

- New lewd scenes (spicy content for our adult adventurers!)
- A whole new city to explore (welcome to Hamun!)
- Major lore drops in the main story (big reveals are coming)
- New OST tracks (fresh music to set the mood)
- Additional QoL improvements (for a smoother gameplay experience)

Keep your swords (and claws) sharp...

Prequel Project: Dreams of Celeste

Meanwhile, development is also moving smoothly on our prequel game, Dreams of Celeste. We're busy gathering character models and other assets for that project as well. (More on that soon!)

The City of Hamun

Our new city Hamun is shaping up nicely! Our first goal is to make sure the city is at least functional (shops, basic services, etc.). Ideally, we want to include a few fun things to do in Hamun for this release, but how much we can pack in will depend on our timeframe. Once the city is a bit more stable and everything's working as it should, we'll share some footage of Hamun in action to show you guys. We can't wait to give you a sneak peek of this exciting new location!

Progress Update – Act 1+2, Free City of Hamun & More!

Hey everyone,

We’re back with an exciting progress update on Parasite Black! This update is shaping up to be huuuge! There’s a ton of new content in the works, and things are coming together nicely. That said, with so many assets to prepare, we don’t want to lock in a release date just yet — but rest assured, we’re getting closer every day.

What’s Coming:
Act 1 – Our goal is to round off Act 1, setting the stage for the next big steps in the story.
Act 2 – We’re aiming to add a small portion of Act 2 as well.
Free City of Hamun – We’re working hard to make the Free City of Hamun fully functional, introducing new places to explore and characters to meet.
Barati Card Game – We’re hoping to roll out the card game Barati as a new mechanic — it’s still in development, but it’s looking very promising!

Regina Update:
We’ve started preparing Regina’s assets and received some spicy new material from the artist recently. However, the majority of Regina’s content will likely come in a later update, as communication with the artist remains tricky. We’re exploring all options and hope to have more news on this soon.

Moving Forward:
This update should bring a lot of new lore, exciting gameplay, and meaningful story progression. We’re genuinely excited about how it’s coming together and can’t wait to share it with you!

Adara Dialogue Question

There was a dialogue option with Adara that occurs one of the first times we see her again upon returning to the city. There is one about meeting her at the tavern later that evening and another one with a grayed out heart next to it. I chose that one, and was wondering what the meaning of the heart was....

Nyx story line is bugged

After I choose the romance option and MC and Nyx kissed the game told me to check her tomorrow but no matter what I do or how much I wait a new diolog with her doesnt appear, she just tells MC a good day and thats it

Respecin, Two-Handed Weapons, Barter & Charisma

Just wrapped up my first playthrough and had a blast, but a few things stood out to me. First, there’s no way to reset or respec Attribute Points, which feels a bit restrictive. Any chance respecing could be added in the future? Second, I picked up the two-handed Steel Sword early on, but it was kind of a letdown. It’s super pricey, and the damage doesn’t really compare to dual-wielding swords. Could two-handed weapons get a buff? They feel like they’re lagging behind. Lastly, I really like ...
