ODINFALL Early Access Update!

Greetings Vikings!

As we get closer to Early Access, we wanted to let you know that we’ve done a bit of housekeeping and updated our Steam Early Access FAQ, which you can find on Odinfall’s Steam page. It tells you everything you need to know about how Odinfall will spend its time in Early Access and what to expect from this 3 month period.

We want to reassure you that none of this means anything will be changing in terms of content, and that the version that launches into Early Access will be content complete, with just some polishing and balancing to stabilize.

Ultimately you, the community, will be the most important driving force in making Odinfall the best it can be through Early Access feedback, especially in co-op mode. You may see a few bugs as we iron them out, so please do let us know what you find. We cannot wait to hear what you think!

FPS?

How is a game releasing in 2024 still locked to 60fps? Cool demo but unfortunately if this is fps locked on release I won't be getting it as action games like these at 60 just give me a headache

Game features FPS lock and no ultrawide support

While this game clearly is inspired by nuclear throne, it didn't need to take inspiration from it's designflaws although it was 30 fps in nuclear throne. 60 fps locked No 21:9 support With these two flaws the game is just wasted potential. It seems interesting and I was excited to try the demo. But I was immediately thrown off. Decouple the logic from the framerate and add 21:9 support even if it gives an advantage. Hopefully scripting wasn't designed around a viewport of 16:9. I'd love to try this aga...

Demo review

Was funny to see some enemies and mini bosses from Nuclear Throne, like desert bandits. ..and the desert level in general. Procedural generation the same as in nuclear throne, level sizes too, weapons types and sub-types (crossbow, auto-crossbow, shotgun, double shotgun) the same again. But I like how you sized the approach, meta progression, world map, weapon upgrades and character ultimates. I also liked boss fights, but fighting will a frozen viking was a little bit painful because ammo ended fast and...

Less enemies for starting level, starting the game seems way too hard on just level 1, and yes this is a skill issue so maybe add a difficulty you can choose for the game, also a inventory system to view all your items and upgrades would be nice
