16.7GB installation?
not really a big problem or anything, it just seems oddly large for a 2005 game

That is the total size of FEAR and it's expansions + some other files. The base game is only around 5GB.

I looked on the folders recently and fear/extraction point are barely 2-3 gbs combined. Its persius mandate that's 7 plus gbs. So if you finish persius and don't care to play it anymore you can delete its folder and free up a ton of space. It was an ok xp, but not as good as the first 2. But I still never got an explanation as to why PM is so much bigger than the other games.

The explanation always were in your corresponding FEARXP and FEARXP2 Default.Archcfg files though...
FEAR PM (unlike FEAR EP) is standalone expansion and you can run it without FEAR.

There are some extra content in the folder like videos and modding stuff that don't effect the game, so I just delete those folders to save up some space
