Freeze issue
The game just freezes randomly when it starts, during gameplay, during cutscenes. The music plays normal, but the screen freezes. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

High. But that shouldn't be an issue. My PC shouldn't have any problems running this.

I opened this and thought the comments would be flooded with Mr. Freeze puns. Sorry, but the jokes are getting "cold". *rimshot*

I'm having the same issue. Any known solutions? I've tried very high settings (which my PC can easily handle) and ver low settings, and it experiences the issue.

I'm having the same issues. I'm running a i5 with 2 gig 950 gtx nvidia gpu with 16 gigs ram. This freezing issue is happening on higher end systems (mine is a mid to low end build, but it is a modern build.)....It's weird, but it will every now and then work on Lego Star Wars (the original 6 movie series)....but man, it works perfectly on this old crappy $299 Best Buy special that runs off intel graphics. I'm sure they'll figure it out as it seems to be a simple memory overflow issue...they may need to create a new .ini file for the program at some object point. I really don't know, but it's obviously a glitch that can be fixed. There's definitely enough money in new purchaser potential to justify the expenditure. I hope Steam has a system set up where a percentage of new purchases goes towards a general fund (general fund for each specific software title, that is) so new OS's or new hardware configurations etc can constantly be kept running for posterity. Anway, the freezing issue...super frustrating...I'm going to set it down and check on it every 3 months or so. If they haven't solved it within a year, I'll figure it out for them (I'm a programmer).

It's been solved, I think. The problem is with wireless controllers. If you're using a wireless controller, that's probably the cause. It took me forever to figure it out but once I did, some guy (rudely) said "duh...I posted this a year and a half ago" so I think that's the problem. Post a response if you're NOT using a wireless controller.

I wasn't using a wired control and had a similar freezing issue of cutscenes freezing for a minute.

I fixed it by making the window windowed with "--windowed".
Sadly that means the game doesn't cover the full screen, so I created a mod to make the game fullscreen windowed (full-sized borderless window)

I don't remember but I'm pretty sure the solution I found was to turn on vsync
I tried that and it didn’t fix it. Which makes some sense, I assume the cutscenes are pre-rendered. It seems to be an issue with having the window fullscreen, at least on my system.
