Hello everyone! Here is a small update which adds some quality of life features.

Most notably, an ancient bug has been fixed, which made the ground physics different for different players in the same game. This makes it possible to host tournaments again. I will start planning.

I also recently noticed that the leaderboards don't work, and that they likely have been broken for a long time. Now they work again.

Changes

The random map seed is now randomized in the lobby. This will make you play an unique map every round if you don't touch the seed setting.

Improved save file handling.

Added file corruption checks: the game can no longer overwrite your old save file if it thinks the new save file is corrupt.

The game now automatically saves backups. They can be found in the following folder: C:\\Users\\\[YOUR NAME]\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Bear Feet Games\\Disc Golf Online\\saveBackups

Bugfixes

Fixed a bug which caused ground physics to be different between the host and other players.

Fixed a bug which made very large OB zones invisible on custom maps.

Fixed a “bug” which caused the leaderboards to update improperly.

• All maps created after this update will have the Quick load feature. This makes them load into the custom map browser around 5000 times faster.
  
• The first time you load a non-Quick load map, the game will add Quick load to it. This takes some time, so the first time you open the custom map browser it will be slower than usual. It will also be slower after downloading a non-Quick load map.
  
• Re-save your maps and re-upload them to the steam workshop to add Quick load to them.
  
• Maps will load into the play mode at the same speed as before.

• OB does not work when test-playing a map in the map editor.
  
• Drop zones only work when you start out of bounds, for example on an island hole.
