And this would be great if you could give us like an optional to play with/without EOS. Like a real annoying way to ask me to create an epic account which I never asked for it.

I am trying to run GOG version, although I have a Steam one also. Just wanted to test if mods actually work. However, I could not go that far.
First, Epic Launcher tried to install automatically. That's just dirty.
Second, I am getting an error about xinput1_4.dll missing. I'm on Win 7, probably because of that. I kind of worked around that, but then it just crashed after loading a 91% savegame. The only save game that is not crashing immidiately is 4% completion, instead it's just loading forever.
P. S. Cannot start a new game either. After about 10 seconds loading music cuts, and loading screen continues forever in silence.
Also, I don't understand a problem with save files. I could use them on the old game version interchangeably in GOG or Steam. I could load saves from like 2014. Never even thought they could be in different format or something.

... save files hasn't to be changed format in any case in a first place! This is a decently OLD game, such thing just shouldn't have happened...
What's an "update", afterall, that just broke the whole game down?
Stability just ruined: game going to crash any moment, mission triggers getting stuck, clothers and vehicle parts glitching and a lot of other "adventures" going on... My personal addition in this list is numerous errors about losing connection while i wasn' t even conencted to anywhere/somebody...
Game is just Broken, what about the principle: do not fix what is not broken?

Imho, If you needed to work on something - it would be better to finish Mike 'Idol Ninja' Watson's project of restoration the full functionality of SR2, than ruin a game that works.

Installed it after ages on my new computer with windows 10, specs are more than enough for it to run on ultra or whatever the hell the maximum setting is called, but it crashes right after the start. first loadingscreen is like 80% done, but nothing happens after that.

Just undo the update. Nobody who bought the game on Steam wants to use the Epic Online Service. Since the game is not playable anyway because of all the bugs, you better undo everything instead of trying to fix your mistakes.

Online disconnections and the camera issue?

Restore the original (Game of the Century) version and put the Re-elected in a different branch, because the Re-Elected is a worse version than the old. Also some paid DLC are missing.

Or, even better, restore the Game of the Century version and give the the Re-Elected as a gift to all owner of the the game of century version. Like you should have done in the first place.

the game doesn't start for me anymore

when i press play it seems like something is loading, but after a bit nothing happens

and the stop button turns back to a play button

also:
the same after verifying the cache, altho the redistributables seemed to be installing some epic online services crap than i dont want. and the game still didnt work.

Just make the Game of the Century Edition available again. I don't want/need Epic, crossplay or whatever else you possibly added/changed with Re-Elected.

Can the the Epic requirement be OPTIONAL? I don't have any friends using EGS, only on Steam and i also don't have an Epic account either... so i would really appreciate if this EOS be optional for people who want to explicitly use it.

После обновления не могу зайти до этого ничего не происходило а потом попробывал через sr_hv cначало показал что нету xinput1_4.dll даже когда я это исправил ошибка появилась другая:

Пробывал переустанавливать не помогло даже EGS не помогла. До этого обновления было всё нормально(ни вылетов,ни ошибок,ни повреждения сохранения и.т.п). Ждём фиксов или говорите как-же это исправить
