i HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE GAME AS OF THIS REVIEW, BUT AFTER PLAYING THE FIRST FEW MISSIONS, WHICH ARE DECENT LENGTHS AND COVER ALOT OF GROUND, I CAN CONFIDENTLY SAY THAT THIS GAME IS AMAZING. THERE ARE MORE THAN JUST A FEW WAYS TO HANDLE EVERY SITUATION, THEY DO THIS FOR ALOT OF GAMES, BUT FOR DISHONORED IT REALLY WORKS. Did not realize it was in all caps until I was done. It is such an incomparable piece of work that I can't describe how good it is. This isn't my first time. I happen to forget things so quickly that it lets me know things anew. So, I took a lot of my time to embrace it fully. I tried exploring every single thing, person and alternative choices.

Now, when you think about the alternatives, you get to know how much effort the developers have put in it. They've embraced it as well. I've come to know or find something more each time I played it. There's something you might've just missed every time you've played.



It'd be a crime against the empress if I dare giving it a rating. It's simply incredible and unmatched.



Power and loyalty can be so destructive against each other. The whole story through, I got to learn a lot about power. It can consume anyone except the one who values loyalty so much. A man would cross all the boundaries when it comes to either of them to keep. It shows how those are in power uses their instruments to remain untouched. It is so relatable in our days.

We've something more that takes part in it and breaks the natural code. We're not so stranger to it. It is a favor or advantage from indistinct things that people presumably use to achieve more than they're given or can. The least what matters is how you're going to use it.

This is how I take the narration of the story. Now, we've characters, personalities and stories behind them. Trust me, some characters (such as Cecelia) grown on to me enough that I've felt so involved. I admire how well-personalized they are.


To simply say, we're given the tools and we can do it however we like. This is the most fascinating part of the play. There are so many ways to execute an objective. You could go unnoticed and come out with clean hands or all out chaos. I've got both high chaos and low chaos. Each of them has different outcome. Your actions affects the characters and things as well. I like to get achievements as many as I can. So, I've replayed the missions and used different approach. I might replay it "again" soon. You can get achievements by replaying from certain missions.

As for the tools, we play as the "royal protector" and he's quite the man of unmatched capabilities of his own and abilities from "indistinct things". It's a powerful combination and dominance over anyone in the empire. I used the abilities a lot. I tried pulling well-choreographed executions as usual.


I've cornered myself around a philosophy of myself that a game should always be about gameplay and story above all. I give all of my time to a game that respects it. I mostly don't care about the realism. As long as it looks decent, I'm alright with it.

Now, its graphics look as if painted by water colors, and textures are rich enough and quite the art. By the design of environment, It has highlighted the tension and absence of comfort in regular life properly. By the world/level design, the industrial and mechanical elements are blended well. I think some of the locations should've been utilized more.


I searched about the composer of it, "Daniel Licht" it is. The artist made sure the game sounds as distinctive as it looks. What a phenomenal composer he was. The whole soundtrack can be so ambivalent. It can melancholic and beautiful. The "Wrenhaven River" soundtrack is quite the exemplary of my words. It speaks so much about a declining empire.


We already know how well-accepted this game is. This game and its developers deserve a lot of words. Nevertheless, I'm recommending it all the way.
