The gameplay was less engaging than the story, in my opinion. The difficulty toward the end was pretty wild and necessitated a *lot* of grinding, but the end of the final route was well worth it.

Gameplay: I don't know how this compares to other dungeon crawlers, since it's not a genre I engage with generally. The mechanics of labyrinth exploration and combat were fine, but nothing especially interesting. After a while I found myself wanting to skip the dungeon segments just to get back to the story segments.

Story: The story was good! There are three routes, each of which has its own story, though all are related. The story does a good job of telling a coherent story while quietly planting questions about what's going on in the background. The first route serves as the core of the narrative, the second expands around it to fill in gaps and flesh out some of the characters better, and the final route puts a bow on everything. It's a good story told well.

Overall I had a really good time. Even with its issues, Labyrinth of Galleria has left me satisfied. If you're looking to sink some time into a good story and/or are a fan of dungeon crawlers, I recommend this one.
