Bro- I have an AMD is that the problem?

One thing you can do is Make the gamma Brighter on your pc. I Tried and its definitely brighter, But the ceiling is all pitch black! i think its our pc that makes it black

Yep i find the same... too dark. No light...

I have the same problem. It's all about the video driver (I figured it out myself), I have a GTX 550 Ti, and it also can't handle bright ceilings. Just recently, I found a way to light up rooms, but it's a sick method for me, but it works. You just need to add light sources under the lamps in the game using UnlockerUE5, adjust the light a little, and then the room will be lit as it should be (almost). However, it's better not to suffer like that, because after loading a new level, your light will not be saved. It's easier to make your own flashlight in the game, go to the Light section, add any type of light source you like, attach it to the camera with one button, and that's it, the room around you will be lit. I don't know about you, but after loading a new level with UUE5, my game crashes, but it's worth a try if you're interested.

Even if your device isn't a ROG Ally, it might work since this is a fix for integrated GPUs in general. My game was so dark I constantly had to keep walking backwards into the dark to get places while keeping the lit area in front of me. When I copied the 2 files into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Complex Found Footage\TheComplexFF\Binaries\Win64" and turned the game back on, everything was SO bright. My device is also AMD.

I was wondering why the footage on youtube is so bright lol
