The entity aren't actually real, btw. The game is coded to make it seems like the entity is nearby. But really it's all within the players illusion.

i mean, i know how these kinds of games actually work, im just wondering if any of the maps have scripted jumpscare triggers.

if its just "youll see something behind a pillar every once in a while" then thats fine

no, the entity is just a thing that randomly appears and goes away, its harmless.

a light turns on and its loud near the end but theres no big gotcha jumpscares

I played this for 20 minutes and didn't even see anything. I beat the game too. It was very atmospheric / tense, but nothing happened. Maybe I got lucky or I'm so oblivious to the danger, haha

I got through without incident. Maybe I'm lucky.

I started the game and turned maybe three corners and then saw a hand or something dip behind a wall. The film grain made it hard to see, though. Made me a little bit very much uncomfortable.

it scared me so much
