I'm so excited to announce that Cook Serve Forever v.10 is out of Early Access and is now available! You can also pick it up today across all console platforms! (PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch!) In addition to our previous huge content update, this update also contains the following fixes:

Patch v1.0 Changes

Performance improvements throughout the entire game.
Improved handling of d-pad inputs for certain controllers and prep situations where it would register as incorrect.
Small bug fixes.

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for all of their support through what I would consider the roughest Early Access period we've ever had. I think in the end we got there and made a fantastic game, but the development cycle was one of the most difficult I've ever had personally and I want to say thanks to those who left positive reviews and feedback on Steam and Discord/Reddit.

Moving forward our development cycles will be much faster, and you can expect more on our next game, "Cook, Serve, Delicious: Re-Mustard!" very soon, along with some other projects we have in the works!

Animation bug?

Hi I have two screens. When I tried to play the game on my second screen, it seems highly likely to crush during animation. 9 out 10 times it did. But it will not crush when I use the first screen. Maybe a bug? Any ideas? Thank you

Extending Timer for 'Delicious' Orders?

Is there a way to extend the timer to assist with Delicious Orders? I can get yellow face orders but have only got x2 Delicious Order. With the 'holding' button and having to hold another button, plus how slow that can be, It is very difficult to get a Delicious Order. West Helianthus Community Gardens needs x3 in one day for the holo sticker (I know one of the previous ones does as well) Other than that, I am liking the updated keys so far!...

D-pad input issues

Hi, I'm a long-time CSD fan and I've been really enjoying Cook Serve Forever so far (having started a couple of days back since the 0.95 update), but I've also been having quite a lot of difficulties with any inputs that rely on use of the d-pad. Basically I'm finding that anything that requires me to hold a downward position on the d-pad at the same time as pressing another button, and sometimes an upward position on the d-pad at the same time as pressing another button, and every now and again just a si...

The game is amazing. Great game play, great music, great story, I was addicted till the end. The game definitely isn't exactly like the old games but I think it's amazing. It's so satisfying to play and once you get into a rhythm it feels just like the rhythm you get in csd 1-3. I would recommend everyone try it out, and give the controls a chance. They might feel a bit off at first, but once you get used to them it is genuinely amazing to play. It feels like if trying to rub your head and pat your stomach was a game in the best way possible. Controller is definitely recommended. Keep up the great work vertigo gaming!

Overall: I enjoyed it. Though I'd prob give it a 6/10. This was definitely a labor of love! However, even though I enjoyed it, I probably wouldn't recommend it as of now, main reason being the price point in relation to the amount of content.

Gameplay was a bit hard to adjust to, especially coming from the previous CSD games. If anything, it was sortof like the 1st CSD where you would have to do certain actions to perform the cooking step, and it would be the same sequence for that step throughout the whole game.

Pros: Story was nice, art was great, fun callbacks to the previous CSDs. Enjoyed the dialogue between characters during cooking. There was definitely a much bigger focus on narrative/story this time around. Did not have to hit 100% accuracy (less stress) in order to get the 'holo stickers'. The 'delicious' timer was fairly generous imo, and easier to hit once you got used to the controls. The blitz mode was fairly challenging to hit 'gold'.

Cons: Unfortunately, I don't think there's enough content or replayability to justify the $30 price tag. I got 100% of the achievements in about 10 hrs of gameplay. I purchased this while it was in early access a long time ago, still happy to support the devs since I still think they're doing a great job. I hope this doesn't discourage the dev from trying new things!!

I find this one really charming (and love the music). The gameplay wants you to do two things at once where both your hands will have different tasks. I love this; it really suits me. The gameplay doesn't evolve at all for the duration of the game, which could make it somewhat stale but for me the aforementioned charm keeps that from happening.
