This game is really good all things considered and has a lot going for it. The characters, while often only driven by sex, are still often somewhat fleshed out. They have their own wants and preferences, and it was really cool to have some characters just say, "hey you're hot and all, but just not my type". It was pretty refreshing. The dialogue is fun and corny, and the whole game is very tongue in cheek about being a horny game. The trap joke really got me, ngl. Me and my partner had multiple laugh out loud moments that felt genuinely well thought out. I was able to laugh with the game, not at it, despite it laying its cards on the table and saying, "hey, I'm a furry porn game". Thank god cringe culture is dead. This game was clearly made with love and it shows.

The art and overall sprite work is incredible. I loved how detailed everything was, and loved the character portraits and in game sprites. You get everything you need to know who someone is right away. The VA's also put a lot of work into sounding believable if a little melodramatic at times. All of it makes for a cute world with lots of 90's game nostalgia.

As for gameplay, I had no major gripes, and what minor things I had issue with I'll get to later. This game is by no means a test of skill and can be broken down into "start quest, get item, hand in item, solve quest that leads you to have item for another quest." This style is also interspersed with a handful of minigames. Most of the time, you are also rewarded with h-scenes as thanks for completing quests. Aside from the main quest, you can also try to find puzzle pieces scattered around the map if you search diligently enough. I'm sure you can imagine what the finished picture is.

And how are the h-scenes you may ask? I mean, that what we're all here for, right? They are incredibly well done. I'm not a scaly, but I had to admit that a lot of care and attention was put into these scenes. The animation, anatomy, and amount of control is all really polished. Some give you more options than others on camera control and pacing, but they all felt unique and like everyone is having a good time. There also some smaller segments that have less animations or are just stills, but are still cute additions to find. Also, you can skip some scenes that can be a bit more non-vanilla. This includes a birthing scene and the game doesn't punish you for not wanting to engage with it. I will say, I think the producers may have a breeding/pregnancy kink, so be prepared for lots of discussions and some on-screen references to both.

Then we go to the small issues I encountered. This are pretty much just nit picks that I found to be a little annoying, but never were they so bad that I wanted to drop the game entirely.

Firstly, the text boxes. I think this was the first and biggest thing that bugged me. As someone who enjoys reading fast and clicking through dialogue faster, the text system in this was too clunky to ignore. The click to skip (showing the whole line of text) doesn't always respond, especially when clicking right away. And if it doesn't get clicked before the last couple of words, you may be stuck waiting for a seemingly arbitrary amount of time for the "next" button to appear. This button, has to be clicked directly, meaning that you can't click anywhere else on the screen, or in the text box; it always has to be on the button in the corner. *edit, you can press space now* While not a huge deal, certain dialogue boxes would end up being repeated over and over and skipping through them became hell with how sporadic you could skip any given box of text. (I'm looking at you, crystal store). To a lesser extent, this also happened with the h-scenes. To be blunt, I would watch the scene, get to the climax, and then have to wait to 15-20 seconds for the characters to moan and come down from the high with no way to exit. Fine the first time around, not so great when you accidentally push the button again when you want to exit. It would be nice in both situations to be able to cancel out of dialogue/scenes and skip ahead if you make a mistake. It doesn't have to be for the first go round, but skip buttons are popular in VNs for a reason. Finally, the text flying in became a bit much for me, and I wish I could turn it off in settings. I would have much preferred a simple scroll in.

Another thing this game could really benefit from is a hint button. While this didn't happen often, in the second half of the game, I found myself going in circles and unable to really progress. Everything would grind to a halt and then I would aimlessly wander the map. Sure you have the note board with tasks, but it's still pretty vague. I know a lot of other people (and I) had problems with the seance and "envy" quests based on other reviews. Maybe a button where you can ask Brittany and she says "hey, maybe I could double check that house again, I might have missed something". Just a thought.

Speaking of wandering around, the map feels a little off. I had so many cases of clicking and then being stuck watching Brit walk to the beach when I didn't want to. Let me back out of a direction. The other tiny problem was not knowing where I could go when. Some shops light up at night to let you know they're open and shop shops close as time progresses. Maybe a purple node to signify closed of areas would be nice. Or have them light up red or another color after you check them out for the first time so you don't keep running into them. Another option would be to just have Brit move faster.

Another small thing that is honestly not a super huge deal is the menus and UI during h-scenes feel somewhat unfinished. This includes the bars that fill up and the speed/change angle/etc. buttons. They look like placeholders in comparison to the wonderful sprite work. Maybe using a different font and adding some flair could make them feel a bit more at home with the rest of the art-style. In addition, some of the VA lines during h-scenes could be repeated a little too often. Hearing the same moan 3 times in a row when it's very distinct and contextual can be a bit jarring and on occasion too loud from the rest of the audio. The final encounter with the culprit, although not an h-scene suffered from some really loud voice lines that caught me off guard. The audio levels can be adjusted in settings at least, but the other things are out of my hands.

As a tiny nit of picks, I struggled with the wrestling mini game. I like to play with controller and only have a PS5 controller. The UI has input for touch, mouse and keyboard, and... Xbox. I failed so many times from trying to hit the right buttons, but I wasn't used enough to qte's on either wasd or xbox abxy to win. I had to let my partner take over so we could keep playing and even then, it took a few tries. I see a few possible fixes. One is to add UI icons for PS5 and maybe Switch/steam deck. Second would be to have gray buttons that show location on the controller rather than name, a la the arrow keys on the left side. Lastly would be to make the mini game optional, as some of the others are. If you aren't feeling it, just skip over and then you miss out on some h-scenes tied to the game, oh well. Any combination of these would be a nice fix.

My partner got this game for me pretty much right after release, and at the time of review it goes for 15 usd normal price and 13.50 usd as an intro price. I would say with the run time being 6ish hours, more for me because I got lost and kept it open while left to eat dinner, the price is a tiny bit too much. I would say 10 usd seems fair for what I got. But I really respect the dev's work and hope they keep up the great work.

Sorry for the essay, and hope that if you got this far, that you can get a fair assessment of what this game is like. If you are a furry/scaly, like erotic games, and want a fun distraction that'll last you 5-7 hours, give this a shot.

This game's got it all... whimsical humor, great animations, and a crisp soundtrack that draws you right in.

I got a feeling this one is gonna inspire a lot of normies to think "I'm not a furry, but..." as they hit the checkout button.
