We have a lot of exciting news to share with you on Reus 2! Let’s cut to the chase, and highlight the new roadmap! 🗺️

• Kruger Update - September 12th: an exciting update that not only adds 2 brand new apexes and 4 new cohorts, but hosts a complete overhaul of the Savanna! Scroll down to read more! ⬇️

• Nikko Update - November 2025: A smaller update with focus on new features. One of them will allow you to randomize secondary biomes too, for brand new Horizon options!

• Manchuria Update + DLC - 2026: I don’t want to spoil much about this update yet, but let’s just say it will add a lot of new biotica…

Players have pointed out that the Savanna was the only biome to not have received an upgrade since launch. Well, say no more! Our goals with the Kruger Update are:

• Animals: Add more Animals to the Savanna to give that Safari vibe.

• Rows: Make row gameplay much more viable and synergetic

• Quality: Improve the general quality of the content so all paths have something special.

To do that, we touched almost every bioticum in the Savanna, and added a few to boot!
One thing you’ll notice immediately is that <Prey> and <Savanna Herd> are gone. They were hardly used. The <Grass> is replaced with the more general <Field>, which allows more Biotica to participate. Take a look at the Red Oat, a Savanna staple:

Notice not only the <Field> tag, but also the <Sunset> tag: a new tag that highlights Biotica which uses in-row symbioses. You will find many more of them. Take a look at some of these reworks!

We’re also adding a new Third Era, the Safari Planet! It challenges you to create a planet with mostly animals and score big with a Herbivore and Predator.
We’re also adding some cool female/male skins for some animals! The Savanna deserves as much!
