This game is begging for Controller Support.
Because this game is perfect for the steam deck, the controls are just a little too finicky at the moment.
Getting some nice standard stick/D-pad with shoulders to swap giant would be amazing.

It's a puzzle game with the skin of a god game. You hand craft a world for up to 3 villages so far, and create ecosystems around them to support their needs to allow the villages to grow. more advanced fauna/minerals needing more biodiversity and higher level plots. it's not the most involved thing ever but its a very Fun and enjoyable little game.

Which is why I think the need to work on proper steam deck support because while I have a good PC this is best served as a hand held with the freedom hand held brings. it's just It still uses mouse controls on steam deck which like i said not the smoothest experience.

This game is... OK, just OK.

There really isn't much here for me with this game. I've never played a god game before and this one had a lot of great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try.

Problems I had with this title.
- There really is no tutorial. The devs did very little to explain anything in this game. Basically just place this here and that here and hover or click on everything in the game and it will explain what this or that does. Well, that's not always the case. It took me a while before I ever saw the "expansion" upgrade (or whatever it's called) and than I had no idea how to use it. Eventually I got it but, it would have been nice to know without searching around to find how to use it. The same with the micro whatever thing with the little blue bug icon. I still have no idea what it did/does because I never saw any kind of real improvement to the numbers.
- I somehow turned the entire world into sludge and had no idea how I did it and in the process it really screwed up some of the biomes since some vegetation could not grow anymore.
- Freezing! The game totally locked up on me 3 times and all I could do was shut down and restart. From what I gather it might have something to do with the ocean biome. When I first started playing this game I'd place three biomes down at the start, forest, desert, and ocean. Again, no clue what I'm doing but that is what I would do. Usually the lock up/freeze would happen right after I placed one item (plant, animal, mineral, whatever) down. Later on I stopped placing the ocean biome down because I found out I can't send a nomad out there to setup camp so I thought why bother to have it and then the lockup/freezing never happened again.
-Boring. For me anyway this game was just flat out boring. I get why some would like it but, for me, there just isn't much to it. On top of that I just don't understand how to really achieve anything and what the end goal was all I seem to be doing is point and click. I just didn't grasp it.

With all of this being said some would wonder why I gave this game a thumbs up. Well, I've played a lot of games in my 30+ years of gaming and I can see a lot went into this title. It cost a lot to make a game these days and this one shows that a lot of time and love went into this game and for that I can't give it a thumbs down. Also, I didn't hate/dislike that game at all, I just just didn't get what was going on. I didn't most of the "upgrades" because I just didn't know how to or what they would actually do to improve my world/biome.

There is definitely something here but, what's here just isn't for me. I have removed it from my HD for the time being but, I am sure it will probably return sometime in the future.
