hit start,then it says play, then says play. no start, no game. anyone else?

xbox 360 controller stopped working in all deathspank versions pls help

Anyone who have Deathspank and Windows 11 have this problem? I just can't play the game, it crashes windows as soon as a hit play. I played this game on ps3 and I miss so much, I don't want to give up :/

If you are wondering how to play this game with a controller. Go into controller settings. On the keyboard tab at the bottom is a little hard to notice checkbox that says something like “Deathspank uses controller mode.” Once I checked that, the Steam Deck controller worked fine. No special controller configuration on the Steam Deck side. ALSO, 2nd player on a controller works as well....
