IRON EVIL IS GOING EARLY ACCESS

It's been a while, Villains and Henchmen!

While we already stated this in our Discord community about a month ago it's only fair we do the same here! IRON EVIL WILL BE ENTERING E A R L Y A C C E S S SOON...

What does this mean for you?

To celebrate this the Playtest will be open for all to join for a while and we are resetting the leader boards on our discord biweekly, but we are also constantly thinking of new ways to interact with our community, and so from today until next Friday we will have a Fan Art Contest!

The Rules

The rules are simple, within the next week we will take submissions on our discord server and on the Steam community page, by the end of the week we will pick out our favorite submissions but also have a community favorite winner, the two winners will receive a very Special Physical Surprise in their mail, hand made by yours truly.

What about the GAME?

Aside from that we are hard at work implementing everything needed for Level 2 "The Orchard" and many other tantalizing features to go with it. So look forward to it, because the next build will be JAM PACKED with fun stuff.

So while you wait for Early Access, we hope you keep safe out there and that you'll bear the wait for just a bit longer!

New features

Circuit Rush!

This new mechanic triggers under certain conditions, for the player this is every time they trigger a "Perfect dodge". Certain parts will only give benefits while Circuit Rush is active.

Additional parts

- Nitro boost: Circuit Rush grants you temporary movement speed.
- Second wind turbine: Circuit Rush heals the player slightly over time.

The Future

We've done a lot of work on this latest patch to lay down ground work for future content, Circuit Rush will add more exciting possibilites for future parts, we've added UI elements that will make it easier to convey information to the player as well as many background features not worth mentioning or simply being kept secret until we are ready to show you them!

Bug fixes

- Sound settings no longer need to be reset upon looping.
- Compressor has been tuned to no longer send you out of bounds.
- Fade out no longer messes up menu's.
- Fixed issue with TorN not dying under certain conditions.
- And a few minor ones.

Additional Content

- Spawn room now features a device the player can choose to buy or save their cash for future shops.
- Added Grenade Device.

Looking for the demo

Sweden Steam Event lists this game as having a demo. SteamDB shows a Demo available, but clicking install errors "no licenses". Is it possible to make the demo publicly available again? Thanks.

2023 drawing to a close.

Store page says release date is 2023 but the year is almost over. Not sure if the game will be releasing within the next week and a half or if it'll (more likely) just see a push-back date.
