Anyone managed to get this running on Linux under Proton?
The ProtonDB page for Sonic Origins says that it supposedly runs smoothly out of the box but I haven't been able to get it to work at all.

Has anyone here actually played the game on Linux within the last 2 weeks or so? If so, how did you get it to run? For me, all I get when I press play is just "Synchronizing cloud" and it then stops immediately, doesn't boot.

For the record, I'm running Fedora Linux 40. Full specs:

Distro: Fedora Linux 40 (KDE Plasma)
Kernel: 6.9.4-200.fc40.x86_64
RAM: 32 GB
GPU Driver: NVIDIA 550.90.07
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core

Yeah I fixed it already. My issue was NTFS.
I like how you can't run Apps from Drives that are not formatted ext, kind of wish you could because if you could then we would be able to duel boot windows with Linux and play most of our games on both.

From what I understand it's because the paths or some other thing is not supported by the runas whatever the call it in Linux.

Valve has made a guide on mounting NTFS on Linux but your mileage may vary.
