This is one of the worst rage inducing RNG mechanics you can find in a WWII hex game.
I suppose it can be played by adding the ability to buy forces to try and balance it out...but a big game killer for me, is the ability to level up and regain full strength, which is utterly ridiculous. That and the fact the game seems to no longer be supported...
Thank you for the response, I went ahead and purchased anyway as it does look different to the other turn based WW2 strategy games I have, might get a few hours out of it at least.
Why even ask for opinions then
Hi smartypants, if you'd checked the dates of the posts and paid attention to the fact it was on sale you might've twigged why I took a punt, have a nice day
Maybe we'll both get lucky and the mods will lock the thread now, it would at least save you from doing any actual thinking.
Cheers
As you will have already seen for yourself, having purchased it, the game is well worth its full price, even more so if you buy it at a discount.
People complain about the difficulty, but it's pretty adjustable. In fact, this game has unique mechanics, very good and different from the rest of the Panzer Corps clones.
It is of course my personal opinion resulting from having enjoyed playing it.
Infantry in town or forest should be harder to defeat.
