Stagger Deep Delve and TGAGWCAGA

Two tidbits to share with you all, one that has happened already and one that's inbound soon!

First up, a Deep Delve by me into the Stagger mechanics of As We Descend so you'll be well equipped on your future descent:

And the other bit of news is that we'll be participating in TGAGWCAGA (or The Game Awards for Games Who Can't Afford the Game Awards) a brand new indie showcase that's going to pop off this Friday (the 13th)! It's designed to spotlight incredible indie games that truly deserve more attention—while also poking a bit of fun at the exclusivity of The Game Awards. This game looks potentially fun but has some serious reworking to be done.

So i like the concept of this game however the "difficulty" is the very unfun and unfair kind. I find myself losing not because im acting stupid or making silly mistakes it mostly because the game HEAVILY favors the enemy on top of crippling you. Biggest issue i got is the mentor constantly giving you new cards, half of them i do not want i would rather upgrade existing cards then constantly get new ones that take up space in the draw pool (also 3 out of 4 times its all for the same unit over and over aga...

Demo now paused until later!

The demo for As We Descend has been paused until we're ready to re-launch it for the next phase. Thanks a bunch for the wonderful support of the game and for playing our demo! The next version will incorporate community feedback as usual and be even bigger than this one.

As of the moment I paused the demo, you all gave it a whopping 93% positive over 59 reviews! It's so great to hear all the kind words and your thoughts on our game. At its peak, there were 290 players simultaneously playing the demo, and over the timespan we had nearly 17000 players try it out. We were covered by some huge names in the indie space on YouTube as well, like Splattercat, Wanderbot, and Retromation!

As We Descend is in the Turn-Based Carnival!

We'll be participating in the Turn-Based Carnival on Steam! To celebrate, we've extended the duration that we're keeping the demo up until the end of the festival on November 20th!

We've also concluded our demo speedrun, where the top 32 speedrunners have gained access to the closed-beta where they'll continue to be able to play the game after Nov 20th. Genuinely one of the BEST games I`ve played recently. More Beta Keys PLEASE!

Been playing the demo for the past 3 hours, and this is genuinely one of the BEST new games I have seen recently. The ammount of content, replayability and customization on a game that is barely in Beta is AMAZING, and you guys are genuinely doing an incredibly phenomenal job. I cannot believe I will have to wait for a chance at beta, or some form of early access launch, but genuinely, just from what I have seem, there is already content enough in this game for an early access purchase release. Loved the Demo, Excited for More!

I signed up for the beta the moment I learned about this game and having played the demo I can say I can hardly wait to give you my money. Even without a tutorial I though most of the mechanics made a lot of intuitive sense, the art direction is phenomenal, and the setting is compelling. I think my only feedback is that going to a vendor with your loot, realising that you're not interested in what they're selling, then having to wait until the next phase to be able to use it elsewhere feels a bit unnec...
