Why isn't Isaac Gay?

When he was first introduced I felt attached, but as soon as they introduced Nicole as the driving motivation for his character, I lost interest.

Why are these studios so afraid of having a dynamic homosexual character? I, for one, would really have appreciated it if there were representation for people like me. Really hoping second remake adds a furry option or at least gay Isaac so I can feel some semblance of relatability.

Back when it was released, it wasn't a thing to boldly present minorities, so that everyone has to feel guilty for not doing everything for them.

But, as Коржик mentioned, you're probably just farming for clown awards.

If, against all odds, that is not the case, then try the Dead Space remake. In the very first cutscene, the navigator of the ship which brings you to the Ishimura tells you that she's gay. Totally undemanded, of course.
