No truer truth has been spoken, Dead Space 2008 version is awesome!

I remember when there was only rumors about the next Doom. I really hoped that it would be Doom 4, not just DOOM. It was at leaset something different, they tried to change the formula. And it was great! Now, it's just bam-bam shooter. It's a good shooter (though I was bored and didn't finish it), but it's not what I was waiting for all these years. Maybe some day...

DOOM 93 was great
DOOM II was great
DOOM 3 was great
DOOM 16 was great
DOOM Eternal was great
DOOM The Dark Ages will be great.

but they were quite different after DOOM 3.

My only gripe is that we never got a sequel to DOOM 3
My other gripe was Spider Master Mind being dropped for DOOM 3.

Also Dead Space is good until they turned it into generic Action Man Shooter.

No, but, Nightdive Studios will be releasing an "Enhanced Edition" of it at some point.

Which, of course, you could consider a remaster.
