Neon Sundown is a solid but flawed entry into the Survivor-like genre featuring a simple retrowave neon aestheic and a more action focused combat, but lacks in depth and build variety, as only one weapon synergy is really viable, the black market unlocks are extremely grindy to get and are often not worth it and some may even be actively detrimental to all future runs to unlock, and the game can be brutally punishing especially on the later stages that further exacerbates the grindy feeling. This game is good in small doses and worth trying but it is not recommended to go for 100% completion.
