I have not loved a game this much since BG3 (and some of the play style reminds me a bit of BG3 - large maps, lots of quest options, lots of endings and variability, and turn-based strategic combat). This game feels so immersive in pre-WWI Poland. Every time I see something about the global political field mentioned, I stop to google it, and have been absolutely floored by how much of this game ties into authentic Polish history that I know woefully little about. Mixing wizards with alt-history stories based in real world events in a fun and educational setting? Count me IN.

Also, although the accents for the voice actors are a bit funny in English and it doesn't take away much to listen in English other than being a bit humorous, try this game in Polish. It adds so much for me. All the VO actors are clearly Polish, they didn't change actors for English language (which is great), but consequently their English/American/time-period-specific accents vary widely from British to mock-1920s-American and aren't always super accurate. Absolutely no shade to the English VO work, it's well done and they clearly put a LOT of effort in, but I HIGHLY recommend playing this in the original Polish voiceover with English subtitles and text for full, beautiful, flawless immersion. It really adds another layer of depth in my experience. I'm absolutely in love with this game.

A Good story, great music, original and well-executed setting and atmosphere fights with outdated graphics and rather unsatisfying and poor combat. It's worth-playing, but the gameplay becomes even more dull in the middle of the story, so, I didn't have the willingness to explore it more broadly resulting in skipping sidequest in order to finish the main plot earlier.

Fantastic game in so many ways - original in nearly all aspects from 'conventional' turn-based RPG games. A snapshot of a time in Europe (Poland) when the region was on an unavoidable path towards WWI. I love that historical persons are used as NPC's in the narrative, and I especially enjoy the diverse cultures shown throughout the game.
