Screensavers
Though the risk of burn-in is low, even on the OLED Deck, some degree of protection from this would be nice, particularly while your Deck is downloading games.

Most people suggest for the screen to just turn off while the Deck is idly downloading. This is fine, but a bit boring. I say we resurrect screensavers from the dead instead. Put different ones in the points shop. Starfields, flying toasters, spinning 3d Valve logos, Gaben's beautiful face distributing %off discounts, different game themed screensavers, Infinite possibilities.

Of course there should also be an option to dim the screen after a while up to and including turning it off completely. Screensavers though would be a fun way to give some peace of mind for OLED owners that their beautiful display will last a long, long time.

Yes 100% also I don't see people bringing up docked steam decks enough, I have a nice OLED I keep it plugged into most of the time and it'd be sweet to have actual screensavers
Absolutely, especially for Docked systems. Would also be nice to be able to configure it so you can choose whether to have it do it only when docked or do it during timeout. Though docked is the only case where it makes sense.

There could be 3 or 5 default screensavers and have more be able to be added through the points store, as well as adding your own through a custom directory possibly (not sure how viable that would be though.
+1 :RedPuyo: Not just for the Steam Deck OLED (the inability to download while sleeping, as the Switch and Mac can, is ridiculous), but also for Big Picture on OLED TV's.
