I press play and the game doesnt load and button reverts to play as if I quit the game. Tried verifying the game files, said it verified them succesfully, still didnt fix the game xd

Everything about this game feels stiff. Even navigating through menus has a slight delay to it. Is this how it's supposed to feel?

Hello, it looks like I got stuck at the beginning of the game. I went left from starting position after I have unlocked lantern. So just before the Spider boss. there is a series of 5 torches that connect each other with a yellow or red line. After lighting them all the line disappears. But there doesn't appear to be a way to get back up, without reloading the game. Possibly just missing something here. But figure i would ask...
