Yeaaaah I wanted to like this game, the premise is very cute and sounded fun on paper, but there’s just so much about it that feels badly implemented.

Gathering and examining plants is the best part about this game, it’s everything else that’s the problem.

Time passing when you sort is such a weird decision, and from a gameplay perspective really ruins the flow of the whole game.

Idk if it was intentional but after clearing the tutorial I decided to spend a day gathering ingredients so the next day I could cook up some things for missions, except that the next day all my sorted ingredients were gone? I want to assume it was a glitch because I hadn’t passed a market day, so I can’t see any reason all my ingredients were gone. It really put me off the game entirely.

The tutorial was another issue, most of it was going back and forth to speak to people and pressing a button to examine things. A pet peeve for me j suppose but simply pressing a button on an object for your character to do nothing shouldnt qualify as gameplay. The tutorial was incredibly boring outside of learning about examining. Just a lot of running back and forth and reading text.

Cooking is just a cutscene, I had thought you’d actually get to prepare things in some kind of mini game but it’s just the same cute scene every time. Incredibly dull.

Overall I cannot recommend this game if you actually like varied gameplay, but I’d suggest trying it for yourself to decide.

I really REALLY wanted to like this game. I liked the demo enough that I bought the game when it come out. However, the controls on the steam deck during foraging seem like they need to be tightened up a bit, but that wasn't the deal breaker for me. The deal breaker was the constant running around/fetch quests that it started off with. While I wanted to be foraging, it was constantly just like "Hey, run here, talk to so and so" and without a comprehensive map to find those people it was just aggravating. I guess if you just want to relax and run around an admittedly beautiful world, then it may just be fine for you, but for me I want to actually get into the game play, not run around for hours in areas that all look the same. The system they use for finding the person you're supposed to be looking for is confusing as well. They would do so much better if they just added a feature to the map showing where that NPC is that you need to find, like Grimshire did. Just not for me I guess.

开发团队的细心和巧思倾注在每一个角落（从demo开始就让我惊讶的是角色跑步时的动作），各个角色的设计有辨识度和表现力，场景里的道具和装饰非常用心，整个世界都生机勃勃，音乐很棒！

游戏的核心玩法围绕采集与烹饪展开，让植物成对出现的设计实在巧妙，你不能只靠“看起来像”而去采集，而是必须像一个真正的植物学家那样，仔细阅读图鉴里的描述，通过叶片形状，颜色，花朵的类型等真实的特征去分辨它们，开发团队不只是在开发一个游戏，而是真的想教会我们如何分辨植物

图鉴的专业程度也很惊人，清晰的标注了每种植物的特征，是否可以食用，甚至收录了在几十种不同语言中的名字，是一个真实可用的植物图鉴。刚刚发现里面的食谱居然都是真实存在的，它们甚至做了一个网站来收录所有包含制作步骤的食谱

整体来说，作为一个Early Access版本，完成度和打磨水平已经远超很多正式作品，期待看到它未来的样子

A really cozy, detailed, slow-paced, and deeply relaxing game.

I played the demo before release, and now I’ve just reached the second area in the full game, which I believe covers most of its core mechanics so far. The onboarding is excellent: instead of overwhelming you with tons of text and markers, it guides you through intuitive, interactive exploration. You’ll learn to identify and gather plants, then use them to cook various foods. For an Early Access version, the level of polish is incredibly high! It also runs smoothly with controller mode on a handheld PC (I'm using ROG Ally).

The developer’s attention to detail is visible in literally every corner of the game. (Even back in the demo, I was amazed by the character’s running animations) Each character is distinctive and expressive, the details and decorations in the world feel thoughtfully placed. The entire environment feels alive. And the music is fantastic!

The core mechanics revolves around gathering and cooking. I especially love the genius decision to present most plants in pairs, you can’t just grab something because it “looks right.” You need to approach it like a real botanist: carefully reading the in-game encyclopedia, checking leaf shape, color, flower type, and other authentic traits before making your choice. The developers aren’t just making a game, they genuinely want to teach us how to identify plants.

The encyclopedia itself is impressively detailed, clearly marking each plant’s traits, edibility, and even listing its name in dozens of languages. It’s essentially a usable botanical reference. I just discovered that all the recipes in the game are real! The team even created a dedicated website that collects them all, complete with step-by-step instructions.

Overall, for an Early Access release, the completeness and level of polish are far beyond many finished games. I’m excited to see how it will grow in the future.
