What's not to love about htis game ? Very chill, you can fly, you can build a nice moving base, sound design is awesome with a great attention to minor details like thunder sound being muffled when you're in a cave... Oh, and for once this is a game that actually understands it is not supposed to rain inside buildings.

Combat is minimalist, and even can be deactivated at world creation, so it should be fine for everyone. Be warned though, character creation has "body types" instead of "'male" and "female", so if you're so very conservative that you get incredibly flusttered by that, as I've seen many times, avoid this game. If you're a normal-thinking person though, you have no reason to not play this great game.

Can't wait to see what it's going to become with more time in the oven, but it's already preety cool as is.

The game has nice aesthetics and the flying is pretty fun and simple, but this is not a survival game in it's current state. There aren't really any survival elements in it. There's a food meter, but it's more for buffs more than anything else, you don't actually need food to live.

In it's current state, this game is more of a cozy, crafting exploration game. You can pretty much do things at your leisure with no pressure.

If you go into this game expecting a classic survival game you will be disappointed. sure thats what it is at the base but thats not what makes you come back time and time again and keeps you engaged like with Ark or the other 300 punch rocks and trees games. There is no real progression and the only progression you have is random. Im 40 hours in and still have not found a wood working bench to make planks. This game is more like animal crossing but without its charming npc's. you build a beautiful island and maybe share it with your friends. thats basically it. the gameplay loop is boring and repetitive and as I mentioned my biggest gripe is the randomness of it. Also your inventory feels too small, the storage system needs alot more work and the only two gameplay mechanics right now are to kill mushroom man and to heal the ecosystem of an island, which is absolutely annoying because you gotta write down the ♥♥♥♥ you need to heal it of which are sometimes animals and insects so you need to have a couple chests around your island full of animals and insects you have to sort yourself into the correct biome and then go back with all that ♥♥♥♥ to the island and sometimes you bring the wrong thing, etc go back and forth. its just ♥♥♥♥ and worst of all I feel like the thing I do the most is micromanaging my tiny inventory and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ storage system. just make every item stackable and my inventory have a space for every single item in the game. there you go i fixed your game, now its at least a little more fun but right now its pretty tedious and boring
